Introduction
Raoul has 17 years experience as a writer for American and European producers. He co-wrote and directed the first feature film to be co-produced by Russian and Western companies: Contact, in 1991. He has gone on to develop and make numerous films and documentaries. In recent years, he has collaborated in various roles with Graham Kennedy of Bewildering Pictures. Raoul also speaks on screen-writing and teaches filmmaking.
Provenance
Raoul grew up in Dundrum, Ireland and attended Trinity College Dublin, graduating in 1984 with a degree in History. He has lived in France and LA and as well as his writing and directing career, he has also run an Art Gallery, worked in Theatre as a lighting designer and Sound tech., advertising from which he escaped with his soul intact, just.
