Introduction

Born in San Antonio, Texas (a 10th generation Texan and a daughter of the Republic - which means she had relatives fighting at The Alamo)! Jocelyn lived in Hawaii and San Francisco with her family before going back to Texas to finish high school. Working as an actress and a singer she attended AMDA and NYU. She also quickly got addicted to directing, writing and producing. After meeting her lover Jeff Peterson, in Los Angeles and both of them feeling the lack of creative energy there, the couple bought their first house in Austin, Texas!! Where they're building Paradigm Shift Studios (producing projects that "challenge the human mind... not continue to dumb us down".

Jocelyn Donegan has been in films and TV shows such as "Sex and the City" and "OZ", a recurring role on "All My Children" and hosting different series for The Discovery Channel & The Weather Channel.- but - as you'll agree when you see her on stage as the front-MAN (ha!) for her band, PLAYER ONE - she's a true rock star. PLAYER ONE is the illegitimate love child of Janis Joplin, Geddy Lee, Trey Anastasio, Johann Sebastian Bach and a band of outlaw polka musicians. For those who have yet to feel PLAYER ONE'S musical might, this consummation may seem implausible. However, belief is inevitable after one experience of the band's sonic diversity and rock n roll potency.
