Introduction

A fine education and some low-level experimentation with conventional employment early in the 21st century made me realize that I don't ever want to do anything that doesn't involve making music. I have therefore been eking out a living busking with my guitar on the London Underground for the past three years, and I can honestly say it's the best job I've ever had. The vast amounts of spare time that a career in busking affords has also allowed me to indulge my sick passion for the banjo, and I am now comfortable playing either instrument, but not yet both at the same time. I suspect I would make more money busking if I could play both simultaneously. A chance encounter followed by a series of unbelievable coincidences resulted in me getting together with my band, the Greeks, who were previously playing the blues for beer in a Cretan beach bar. They now play blues funk country folk fusion for beer in a variety of London venues as my backing band, while I still play frequent solo acoustic shows. We also have a number of collaborations in the pipeline, covering everything from straight-up country to California hip hop and Punjabi music. We are all having a lovely time.

I Like

I like anything that has strings on it and goes "twang" or "plink" or "boing". I also like unusual things that I've never seen before, internet poker, and certain kinds of taxidermy. I like children's films of the '80s and violent films from Japan and Korea. I also like bourbon, and looking at pictures of kittens on the internet.
