Introduction

Anita is director of E2 Projects and Corazon Films Ltd., two production companies in the UK. She is a writer, producer, actor and Media trainer who originally trained as an actress and theatre director. After ten years touring and running theatre groups for the Arts Council, she studied filmmaking in America and worked extensively in production. On her return she began making films and has made product for international distribution, television, cinema and now, on line digital delivery. She is Co Chair of the New Producers Alliance, a national filmmaker membership and training organization and teaches at a number of Universities in London and the UK.

Provenance

Went to kindergarten in Far East - feel happier in 'hot climate' hence live in East End home of the curryhouse UK - E2 ! I was the child who always cried when going home from holidays abroad in the 70s'... hence forward spending half my life in 'other countries' Film school Los Angeles, France and any film festival abroad! Have always loved other countries, hence many co productions ; currently Florida,USA Germany Ethiopia !

Career Apex

Standing in a field in Los Angeles in 1994 with 200 + crew and swearing in German at the Special efx guy from Batman on a German US co prod. - thats when I knew I had to go back to europe. When any of our films have been shown in a cinema with an audience ! its a great feeling... Having Producer as ' profession' in my passport
